Bookings and shipments.

A booking captures customer demand. Shipment records carry the cargo, service, movement, compliance and commercial context forward.

Working model

01

Capture the request

Record the customer, origin, destination, service and shipment information required for execution.

02

Add cargo detail

Weight, dimensions, product and shipment references become inputs for planning and billing.

03

Validate compliance context

GST place of supply, E-Way Bill records and other required dispatch data belong to the shipment context.

04

Move into planning

Once the demand is ready, it can be assigned into route and trip planning.

05

Follow the same record

Tracking, delivery, POD, invoice and support context remain attached to the shipment journey.

Good to know

Bulk booking

Customer users can also submit bookings in bulk through CSV based workflows.

Charged weight

Freight logic can compare actual and volumetric weight as part of billing context.

Exceptions stay structured

Damage, loss, shortage and other delivery exceptions should be recorded against the shipment rather than in separate notes.
